Preservation possibilities

Todays wrecks could me tomorrows show entries.....

This page results from an idea by  Andrew Wright in Anglesey who wrote to us about lost opportunities in regard to vehicles rotting away which are eventually go for scrap, when they could be saved by someone out there.

Send in any photos of vehicles you have noted that look in a sad state and out of use, we will add them to this page and if we receive any serious interest, we will try and put the interested party in touch with the vehicles and hopefully its owner for a good end result.

Send you photos to [email protected]

This old Foden 8 wheeler with Mickey Mouse can was found lurking away in this shed on Anglesey by Andrew Wright.  Generally in reasonable  condition with surface rusting to the cab.

This Commer Q4 started out as a Home Office emergency hose carrier in the days of the Civil Defence and was spotted near Gaerwen on the Isle of anglese. It is being used as a mobile fuel storeage unit and is presumed to be working.

This Seddon Atkinson may appear to modern for many preservationists, but it is still worth saving and appears in good condition, but the condition of the engine and gearbox is unknown. As the lorry is is the same area as the Commer Q4, iot is more than likely that the tank on the Commer came off this vehicle...why ?
