Clwydian Tours

The Evans family whose Clwydian Tours company has been established in the village of  Pentre Llanrhaedr near Denbigh  for many years. This photo submitted by Ivor Bufton was a "fair cop" excuse the pun, at the Merseyside Police Stables in Greenhill Road, Allerton in the south of the city in August 2005.  The "cop" in this case is a Dennis Javelin with Marcopolo C57F body delivered new to Evans in October 1997.

This Bedford SB3  is "officially" preserved by I think David Evans although as was explained to the editor three years ago, "we have´nt had time to get around to it yet !"   I think I have heard that before somewhere !  Well, 872BDM is fitted with a duple C41F body and was delivered new to Evans Bros. in Rhyl in April 1962.
