Cardiff Transport Preservation Group                   www.ctpg.co.uk

Now in its fourteenth year, the group was established in 1992 in order to purchase, restore, maintain and preserve for the benefit of the public, vehicles, artifacts, archive material and other items which pertain to  and reflect the transport heritage of, the City of Cardiff and surrounding areas.  To this end the Group has acquired a number of buses formerly operated by City of Cardiff Transport and other local operators.  All vehicles are owned by the group or it's members.

Cardiff and South Wales Trolleybus Project                       www.cardiff-trolleybus.co.uk

The Cardiff and South Wales Trolleybus Project was formed in 1992 with the long term aim of reintroducing trolleybuses into the Cardiff area, primarily as a Tourist Attraction but also as an additional Leisure facility for the residents of South Wales. Meetings were initially held at the premises of the Butetown Historical Railway Society at Butetown Station in Cardiff Bay. However when that project relocated to Barry meetings were transferred to the boardroom at the Cardiff Royal Infirmary, Where they have been held ever since.
