Jones of Menai Bridge

Jones Motor Coaches of Menai Bridge is no longer with us,  but surprisingly for a small local operator, several of their coaches live on in preservation both in Britain and on the Continent. Contributions towards the history of this well know company and its coaches would be most  welcome.

A Bedford OB dating from 1949 was one of  several OBs operated by Jones. EY9025 was spld by Jones to Davbid Dean in Paisley who continued to operate it in his Classique coach fleet. In the 1990s in a change of direction, EY9025 became surplus along with sister coach EY9392 and both were purchased by Rik VanHeusden of Diepenback in Belgium. It is now registered BCK893.
